• Educational Qualification :
• For Grade Pay : Rs. 1900/- : Intermediate Pass or its equivalent with A President Scouts/Guides/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR Apre-HWB trained Scouts leader/Advanced Trained Guides/Leader/Captain.
• For Grade Pay : Rs. 1800/- : High School Pass or its equivalent with with A President Scouts/Guides/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR Apre-HWB trained Scouts leader/Advanced Trained Guides/Leader/Captain.
• Nationality : Indian

Age Limit :

• For Grade Pay : Rs. 1900/- : 18 to 29 years
• For Grade Pay : Rs. 1800/- : 18 to 32 years

Age Relaxation :

• For SC/ST : 5 Years
• For OBC : 3 Years

Application Fee : Candidates belonging to GEN/OBC category have to pay Rs. 100/- through Indian Postal Order/Bank Draft in favour of F.A. & C.A.O. DLW/ Varanasi. SC/ST & PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
